vintage Italian tole metal birds & flowers candle holders for small candles

Pair of shabby vintage Italian tole candleholders, made to hold small (about 1/2" in diameter) candles. These are hand-painted metal, marked Italy.

These have some noticeable chipping to the painted enamel, but it doesn't really detract from the look at all, it's a pretty set.
